A continuation… the plot thickens, and the gang runs into more trouble! But what is a story without conflict, yes? It’s boring, that’s what it is.

I’ve decided to provide you all with yet another pigeoncast! Comment as you see fit, and stay on the lookout for the next comic page.

So, I have been writing a lot lately. This should come as no surprise, considering that I am the writer of two different web comics. Well, comics aside, this is where I stand: I have finished a novel. It currently clocks in at 70,000 words, but I would like it to be 75k, at least. This will not be hard to do, but before I start throwing in paragraphs, I would like to go through a creative critique/edit. I already have a senior copy-editor lined up once I have this second draft finished, but I am still in need of the creative review first, followed by an unscrupulous round of polishing.
This brings me to my first major roadblock: creative reviews and edits cost money. Lots of money. Money that I do not have. Fortunately for me, my wife is particularly skilled at this, and will be helping me… that is, if she can ever find the strength of will to put down Game of Thrones for a day or two… my guess is no. So, sooner or later, the edits and feedback I need will be given, and I will be able to polish off my novel to a more finished format. Then, I can hand it off to the senior copy-editor, who will tear my grammar asunder, no doubt. After those fixes are made… then it’s off to pitch this bad-boy to some literary agents and agencies. So! Wish me luck and best of it and all that jazz. I’ve got a few solid leads that I am going to attempt to follow, but they’re little more than essentially cold-calling at this point.
Anyway, all of that aside, I am immensely proud of the work that I have done so far, and for having the tenacity to follow through and to actually finish a complete novel. It is something that I view as quite an accomplishment, and I look forward to doing it many more times. In fact, I already have a brief outline of the next book in my series that I am attempting to create. I am so excited I can hardly wait to get started on it.

And a dark, comedic one at that. If you like independent musicals, then you should check this out. Written and directed by me, of course.

Hey folks! It’s me again, the venerable Mr. Sinn. Now you might be asking yourself, what has the HvP crew been up to lately? If you aren’t, well, that doesn’t really matter because I’m going to answer that question for you. We’ve been moving! Well, about to move. Preparing to. Like, to new homes. It takes up a lot of time and energy to find places a live and pack up your life, that it does. It’s been a few years for me now, and I’d forgotten how much it sucks.
Apart from moving, I’ve also been trying to do more voice over work. In fact, I just wrapped up a paying gig last night for a company in Canada. So to all you canuks, thanks for the work! Keep sending it my way. And to anyone else out there who reads the wonderful comic known as Want to Buy Dignity; if you should find yourself in need of some voice work, you know who to go to.
On top of that, we’ve been hammering out a few commercials as well as another boatload of how-to videos. Gotta keep the lights on somehow, right?
Also, if any of you should find yourselves interested, you can read a screenplay I wrote and submitted to Amazon Studios. Just head over that way and give it a download, if you’s like, and tell me what you think! It’s a modern day fantasy, and I must say that I’m pretty excited about how it turned out. So to all you good people out there, keep doing what you do until the next comic post!

Mr. Weisner and I partook in the cinnamon challenge. I will post a totally epic video as soon as I have it edited together displaying our heroics.
