We pretty much took hints of the design for Regerar’s cloak straight up from Assassin’s creed, if you hadn’t gleaned as much for yourselves already. You will be happy to know that we will be abandoning the cloak soon enough, for a sleeker, darker look. However, Raz looks totally badass in panel 4, ya gotta agree with me on that one.
Our business as a production house is certainly expanding, as we continue to pick up more and more contract work, shooting events and TV commercials for various businesses. We can’t help but think how nice it would be, however, if we were able to get another paid comic gig, like the Librarian one with TNT. Currently, we’re in cahoots with a man on the inside who is pulling strings to get us another gig like that, but only with the TV show Leverage. Won’t that be exciting? We’re looking forward to it, and we’re designing a page or two of sample work for what the comic could look like. Hopefully we will have that done soon, and can throw it up on the site for all to see! Won’t that be lovely? Obviously, the ultimate goal is to get it picked up by the man, Devlin, himself; to get him to agree to hire us one more time for another Sunday in the park, so to speak. So, you know, if you’re on the inside at one of those institutions, be it either TNT or electric entertainment, do us a solid, and throw around our names like paper airplanes in the office.

This is actually taken from a post I made in the Forums, but I wanted to share it here:
As far as doing a comic yourself goes, you should absolutely get started on it! If you need any help with the whole character and plot development, you could simply read a post I made on this site not too long ago about character and plot development for stories. It has a lot of great knowledge that was passed onto my by some of my professors. Being a film student myself, they were originally geared towards scriptwriting in movies, but seriously… a story is a story is a story, no matter what format or medium it takes. It was made in an actual blog post, not a comic post, but it certainly helped me flesh out my novel, my screenplayes, my animated TV series, and this comic series as well. I really hope to get all of them made someday, hopefully soon, and be a regular at many different cons. I would love to actually be invited to some to do panels and discussions… that would be amazing!
Also, heres some helpful insight: As far as ink and paper goes, as well as comic evolution, you should check out Sam and Fuzzy. I LOVE the guys work, and he does all his comics by hand, on paper, then scans and inks them. He also started just doing random comic strips that had no coherency, but as his artwork evolved, he started making the incoherent original strips coherent, and started writing graphic novels. He now has several different graphic novels, as the story of his characters keeps progressing into new stages in their lives. It really is quite bad-ass.
*so yeah, I really just wanted to throw that little forum post I made in here mainly for the link to Sam and Fuzzy, because, quite honestly, I love that comic! It’s amazing, and I fully endorse it. You should go read it, right now. He’s also got enough content on there to keep you reading for a few days, so it’s pretty rad.
