Boom Shakalaka! we’re on an airship. It’s an airship. It’s a ship that sails in the air. Aren’t you excited to be on this airship with us? On a side note, the book Leviathan has a bitchin’ airship in it. Check it out.

Check out our Dragon Age: Origins inspired cover! Hey, we needed a cover for volume 2; seeing as how it’s only got, oh, 2 or 3 pages left in it! So, here it is! I think Mr. Weisner did a fantastic job with this page, and quite frankly; it looks great! How could you make something look better than that? You can’t! And neither can he, because it’s already rockin’. Also, as a little gift for you, you can grab a hi res version of it here. Pass it around, and consider it a hoiday gift from us to you.
On a side note, our business has slowed down recently, due to the time of the year. As businesses are rounding out the fiscal year, their budgets have all been used up, and no one has time for poor little ‘ol Hawk vs Pigeon Productions! It really is sad, if you think about it, because it means work is scarce for Weisner and I at the moment! So, ah, you know… if you have a a job for us for December, just let us know, and we’ll do what we can… provided you can pay us, that is. We will continue to hammer out our comics though, so have no fear about that! We are hoping to be able to start up another large advertising campaign next year, to help increase readership for the comic. I mean, would that be a bad thing? I for one enjoy the comic a good deal, and can only imagine that other people in the world wide interwebs must feel the same as I do! To think otherwise would be preposterous!
Another side note that sort of ties in with the first note: Do you have a moment to talk about the great and sovereign Dragon Age: Origins? You do? Good! Most people just shut the door in my face… If you’re a fan of Bioware’s RPG’s, then DAO will not disappoint. I’m going to use this time now to state one thing: A mage who is trained as an arcane warrior AND a shapeshifter is a god among men on the battlefield. A mage who wears full plate armor, carries a big-ass shield, and a nasty sword that deals 4 types of damage and paralysis per hit while throwing chain lightening and fireballs is a truly disturbing thing! Not to mention the whole change into a huge bear covered in bone spikes when the going gets rough… it’s a good thing.

New Star Trek movie is out! Pick that bad boy up on Blu-Ray. Now, believe it or not, I have never been a Star Trek fan. Never. When I was very young, I saw an episode featuring Will Shatner fighting a lizard man with rocks and sticks, and I washed my hands of the whole “Star Trek” matter from that day forward. That being said; the newer film, which I’m sure many of you saw in theaters, much like myself, is a far superior product! The story is nice, the pacing good, and the actions is, well, action. Also, as a sucker for Simon Peg, I couldn’t help but enjoy it simply via his proxy. So, if you haven’t already had the pleasure, you could always do yourself a favor, and pick it up on Blu Ray (the wise choice) or DVD (also a decent choice… for a Philistine).

We’re all rested and well, no longer sick, and pumping out comics once more! Ya gotta love that, right? Now I’m not saying that our days of giving excuses are over… as much as we would all love that, I just don’t think it will be the case anytime too soon. But, such is life, I suppose, such is life. Hope you enjoy today’s page!
