WTB Dignity has been giving us issues as of late, as in we have been at a lack of time to properly finish the next page… too much work to do! Of the paying sort, of course. But don’t you worry! It is coming back very, very soon, of that I can assure you. Until then, please feast your eyes on part one of a most epic documentary, “Renegades of the Renaissance”; featuring none other than the very real Patch Adams. Yup, the one who had a Robin Williams movie made about him… but don’t mention it to him, he hated it.

On another note, if you are anything like me, a business entrepreneur extraordinaire, then networking is of the utmost importance. It’s got some very good tips that you, and anyone else, could really take a hint from.

I’ve been thinking a lot about networking, advertising, and creating comics in general. I would like to offer my knowledge and expertise that I have learned through trial and error over the course of the next few weeks here on Hawk vs. Pigeon. If you want a good guide for a more advanced user, then I would recommend hitting up DoshDosh, if you don’t already. That gal’s got a plethora of knowledge that she just gives away. She just gives it away! I’m serious. As far as the whole comic thing goes, writing, editing, creating, posting online and all that jive, then you might want to stick around and keep checking back right here on the ‘ol homepage, because I’m going to be hooking you up.

As always, a new We Live in Atlanta went up today.  You should totally check it out.  Also, shooting how-to and instructional videos is actually proving to be far more amusing than I previously imagined it would be.  it’s actually pretty fun, and it has jumped me into being more active than I have been for some time.  Also, money is a big plus.  Be sure to check back tomorrow to see the next page of WTB Dignity.  Oooooh yeeeaaaahhhh.

I must say, this whole advertising thing is working out pretty well.  Who would have thunk it, huh?  We’re getting a pretty steady amount of page hits daily that greatly exceed numbers that I initially thought would be possible in such a short amount of time.  We even got compared (in a good way) to LFG, which is freakin’ sweet.  Back in the day when we first created these comic characters almost four years ago for the World of Warcraft comic competition, we did so because there simply were never any comics from the Horde side, or from the side of the “villains”.  So, we made a comic called “The Warsong Gulch Chronicles”.  About a year later, LFG formed.  I’ve actually been reading them since the first post they made.  I’ve always been a huge fan of Least I Could Do, and since LFG was doing exactly what I’ve always wanted to see, needless to say, I was drawn into it.  In fact, if you haven’t read up on them, now would be a good time.

We’ve been in touch with TNT lately, as well, and it looks like there might be another project similar to the Librarian web comic gig we did coming our way in the near future.  This time around I think we will have far more time to work on it, whatever it is, and ultimately will be able to make a better overall product.  I’m pretty excited about it, as I really enjoyed working with them on the first one.  They’re good folk.

On a side note, we are on the verge of page 30 in the WTB Dignity world, and for some reason that makes me exceedingly happy.  I guess I get happy each time we knock off ten more pages.  Oh, also… page 9 of We Live in Atlanta goes live tonight at Midnight, so we’re about to hit ten on that front as well.

Greetings and salutations!  I have come to enlighten you all that our brand new web-comic series, We Live in Atlanta, has gone live, as of this morning!  Woo hoo!  Right now, the game plan is to bring you three updates a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.   That way, you can have your fill of a brand new Hawk vs Pigeon comic every day of the work week!  As for the weekends?  Come on, we need to rest too, you know.  Anyway, you can always satiate your need for new things in our convenient online shop, if the mood strikes you, and I seriously hope it does.  I’ve got a kid to feed, people.
